By Madeline Lyskawa (December 21, 2021, 5:58 p.m. EST) – Operators of two Texas CBD stores have been hit by a class action proposal led by a former sales associate, claiming companies have erroneously avoided paying for hours additional by sharing staff and sending them home with separate paychecks.

In a lawsuit filed in Texas federal court on Monday, Colin Ross sued two CBD USA Plus franchises claiming that despite requiring employees to work at the two North Texas locations, the companies are treating CBD stores as entities. in order to avoid paying overtime in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
